Bailey Skiles has 10+ years of professional experience in management, operations and entrepreneurial ventures for artists, designers, filmmakers, media-makers and museums, she has consistently found unique ways to combine her loves of operations, organizational culture and creativity.
Skiles currently leads operations for TAG Media, the in-house creative team within Booz Allen Hamilton’s Strategic Innovation Group. Following college, she served in the U.S. Peace Corp working with female artisans on small business development in rural Morocco. She subsequently held positions in arts-education administration in New York City, and in events and publications project management for the National Gallery of Art. In the midst of graduate studies, she started Penline, a business consulting company serving creative startups and independent artists. Skiles is an artist herself, working primarily in cut paper and installation; her work is held in private collections nationwide. Additionally, she has organized significant arts projects for several nonprofits in DC, including Help Portrait, Ballou International, the Rising, and for her church. Skiles holds a BA in art history and BS in business administration from the University of Kansas, and an MBA from the George Washington University, with a focus on operations and organizational culture in creative business and industries.
