Biography

Lorna Quandt is an Assistant Professor in the PhD in Educational Neuroscience (PEN) program at Gallaudet University. She is the Science Director of the Motion Light Lab (part of the NSF-funded Science of Learning Center on Visual Language and Visual Learning), and Director of the Action & Brain Lab, where she uses EEG to investigate the neural substrates of action as applied to visual language and visual learning. Dr. Quandt received her BA from Haverford College and her PhD from Temple University, followed by postdoctoral training at the University of Pennsylvania.
